Hannah
Ose
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
Independent Contractor
CTRS
Hannah joined our team at Alliance Music Therapy to help us innovate healthcare and to bring Therapeutic Recreation services to individuals in their homes- the first of its kind. She has many years of experience working with individuals of all ages, individuals with physical and developmental disabilities, and individuals needing mental health support, and older adults in long-term care/skilled nursing.

Hannah joined the Alliance Music Therapy team in February of 2024 as an independent contractor to assist in furthering our team’s reach and expand the populations we provide services for. Hannah obtained her Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Winona State University, while minoring in dance. She later moved to Colorado where she worked at an impatient acute care behavior health hospital. During that time, she became a registered Yoga teacher. Though she was sad to leave the mountains of Colorado, she was happy to move back home to be closer to family.
She was drawn to Recreational Therapy as she was searching for a college that provided Music Therapy, but fell in love with Winona State University; a college that did not have a Music Therapy program. She decided to attend WSU with the possibility of studying Music Therapy in grad school. At WSU, she discovered Recreation Therapy and knew it was what she was looking for. She was able to use her passion for music, but also use a wide range of leisure and recreation to help people meet their goals. Her favorite modality is using creativity to build awareness, self-expression, emotional regulation skills, and self-confidence. Whether that be through painting, mixed-media, writing, or movement!

In her free time, Hannah loves being outside with her dog, practicing yoga, engaging in creativity through painting and sewing, practicing piano, being in nature, and spending time with loved ones!
What Hannah loves most about working private practice thus far is having the opportunity to create trusting, positive, and authentic rapport between clients and herself.
We have been working with Hannah Ose for a few weeks now. My son who has cerebral palsy was sold on having Hannah as his therapist at our initial consult and assessment session. Hannah always tries to have a different activity for him (he really enjoyed doing water color painting with her). Hannah is very patient and he loves just having conversations with her while they do their activities. He is always looking forward to his next visit and saying "I wonder what I will do with Hannah this week"
